  • Assignments mysteriously vanish from memory—even though they’re clearly on the syllabus.

  • Independence feels more like isolation

  • Self-advocacy skills seem to be not enough

  • Unstructured time becomes a black hole of Tiktok and panic

  • Burnout or shutdown show up before midterms do

  • Are unique learners (meaning their mind or bodies engage with the world in unique ways, for example but not limited to: adhd, executive function challenges, learning differences, Deaf and hard of hearing, 2e, or simply not thriving in a traditional learning environment.)
