Being a parent can feel isolating for many reasons- and it is HARD!​ It can be challenging for any parent to find and connect with “the village.” Families are increasingly isolated and cut off from one another. Whether it be geography or the relentlessness of work schedules or the exhaustion of the combined work-life load, we’re increasingly isolated and feel alone.

At Families Flourishing, my mission is to help parents and families build a foundation of well-being that will support them through all of life’s challenges. I understand the pressures and worries that parents face in today's world as they guide their children through all their ages and stages. Through my experience as an interpersonal communication expert, and my 15 years as a post-secondary instructor in the field of education, I provide practical tools and strategies to help bridge the gap between school and home. As a mother of three children, two of whom have IEPs (Individual Education Plans) and one of whom is Hard of Hearing, I understand the unique challenges that parents and families can face as they grow and change. I am passionate about helping families thrive despite external pressures. I provide family coaching services that focus on communication, relationships, and problem-solving. Together we can find strategies to find enjoyment in parenting and to help your family flourish.
